What’s Your Jam Music Studio is where music meets heart. Founded and run by Hafiz John Dzulkifli, a multi-instrumentalist, sound engineer, producer and father of two, the studio was built on 18 years of teaching and performing experience.

Since 2007, Hafiz has inspired countless students to play, create and express themselves with confidence. A one-man powerhouse, he plays guitar, drums, ukulele, keys, and vocals, and is known for his captivating live looping and stage performances.

In 2018, Hafiz opened a music school and studio with 6 professionally equipped studios and multiple music instructors, nurturing hundreds of students across Singapore. As the business grew, he realised his true passion lay not in managing a large operation but in staying hands-on, creating, teaching, and guiding each student personally.

Today, What’s Your Jam has returned to its roots, a one-studio, one-instructor space where Hafiz can focus on what he loves most: crafting great music, mentoring musicians of all levels, and ensuring every session delivers genuine learning and artistic growth.

Lessons follow the Rockschool syllabus but go far beyond exams, blending real-world musicianship, recording experience, and creative exploration in a relaxed, inspiring environment. Whether you want to learn your first song, record your own track, or simply find your rhythm again, Hafiz will guide you every step of the way, because at What’s Your Jam, music isn’t just taught, it’s shared.
